CAPTAIN AMERICA RETURNS… ON A NEW HJC HELMET.

CAPTAIN AMERICA RETURNS… ON A NEW HJC HELMET.

HJC Helmet’s Partnership with Hyundai N Takes their Helmets to WorldSBK

HJC Helmet’s Partnership with Hyundai N Takes their Helmets to WorldSBK

Hyundai Motor joined forces with Dorna WSBK Organization to become the Official Safety Car of the 2019 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship (From the original press release: http://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/2018/Hyundai%20N%20to%20become%20WorldSBK%20Official%20Safety%20Car%20in%202019)  It is an exciting move for Hyundai as the automotive company becomes more involved with the sport of motorcycle racing through their sponsorship of an elite, international series.

HJC Helmets has partnered with Hyundai for various events in the past, as both companies are renowned manufacturers based in South Korea.  Although HJC is usually involved with Hyundai’s automotive events, this time Hyundai takes HJC full circle, back to their roots of motorcycle racing.

Each of the drivers of the Official Safety Cars will use HJC Helmets to add protection while leading their Hyundai N around the track.  In addition, guest passengers will also wear helmets provided by HJC, adding comfort to their exhilarating experience. You can say this makes HJC Helmets the “Official Helmet” of the Official Safety Car of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship.

Hyundai’s N division develops sportier cars designed with high performance in mind.  As a company that also focuses a large portion to motorsports with automotive and motorcycle racing helmet development, HJC was quick to secure their partnership with Hyundai. HJC is also a title sponsor with Dorna MotoGP, so each company is heavily involved in the support of motorcycle racing.

The WorldSBK calendar will take fans to Thailand on March 15-17, where spectators will be able to see Hyundai’s safety vehicle and HJC helmets in action.

IT’S BACK… AND IT’S TWISTED.

IT’S BACK… AND IT’S TWISTED.

In 2016, HJC released the RPHA 11 Spider-Man and RPHA 11 Venom helmets, allowing riders to choose between your friendly, neighborhood hero, or the chilling antihero.

Although Spider-Man is one of the most popular comic characters of all time, it was the RPHA 11 Venom that become one of the most popular helmet graphics to ever hit the motorcycle industry. HJC dealers could not keep this item in stock.

However, after a few years of review, the designers at HJC thought that maybe, after all, the RPHA 11 Venom looked a little too nice. So, HJC worked with Starline, the original Venom helmet designer and an Italian designer that paints for a number of top MotoGP racers, to come up with something that was even more dark and twisted.
Now, HJC brings you the RPHA 11 Venom 2. With sharper teeth and a wider scream, this graphic is fueled by rage. By Spring 2019, every rider will be able to host this powerful alien symbiote.
The new Venom design will continue to be featured on the RPHA 11 (Pro), HJC’s premium sport helmet. The RPHA 11 is designed for the race track with an aerodynamic shell structure composed of HJC’s Premium Integrated Matrix (P.I.M. Plus) shell material for enhanced shock-resistance in a lightweight helmet.

Smoke shield and anti-fog lens included.

2019~2020 HJC Helmets Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland

HJC Helmets signs Cal Crutchlow for 2019-2020 MotoGP Seasons

HJC Helmets have reached an agreement with Cal Crutchlow to become his official helmet sponsor for 2019 and 2020 in the MotoGP World Championship.

Cal has been a permanent fixture on the MotoGP grid since 2011 and the British rider continues his relationship with Team LCR Honda in 2019 after celebrating three podiums in 2018 including a victory in Argentina. Unfortunately, an injury sustained in Australia excluded Cal from the final three races of the season.

Cal earned his first MotoGP victory in Brno 2016 at the HJC Helmets Grand Prix České Republiky, this new partnership hopes to see many victories together, maybe even on another HJC podium, and this time at the HJC Helmets Grand Prix Deutschland in 2019.

A well-respected rider by all in the paddock, Cal will become a vital part of HJC’s racing program. His maturity and experience on track bring important knowledge to contribute to the development of HJC’s products, building on their 47 years of experience in manufacturing quality motorcycle helmets.

“I am very pleased to announce my new partnership with HJC Helmets. They’ve grown their presence in the MotoGP paddock over the past few years, sponsoring races and I’m happy to join the family. Despite being a huge company, they haven’t lost the personal approach and relationship, and this means a lot to me. Their helmet is a great product and I’m looking forward to working with them to continue to develop and evolve their design.”

– Cal Crutchlow

“HJC is a family business, so when we welcome a new rider they become part of the family. Cal Crutchlow is a very competitive rider who maintains good sportsmanship on and off the track. We look forward to having him join the HJC family and representing HJC Helmets around the world.”

Between the constant sound of motorcycle engines and the race community in the paddock and the stands, nothing compares to the experience that we get at the track.  The passion in motorcycle racing is contagious, spreading from the racers, to the fans, and to the sponsors involved like our company; this is what we love to be a part of.  It is our privilege to give back to the industry through MotoGP since the sport does so much to promote motorcycle riding around the world. HJC’S MOST “EYE-CATCHING” HELMET, YET.

HJC’S MOST “EYE-CATCHING” HELMET, YET.

Introducing HJC’s most “eye-catching” helmet, the RPHA 11 Mike Wazowski.

Mike Wazowski, the one-eyed monster, and scare-team expert, from DisneyPixar’s Monster’s Inc., is definitely an unexpected character choice for a motorcycle helmet graphic. However, this wild and bright, one-eyed graphic stands out like no other on the track or the street.

Following the RPHA 11 Lightning McQueen and Jackson Storm helmets, the RPHA 11 Mike Wazowski is the third graphic from HJC’s Pixar-licensed helmet collection, adding unique entertainment to shelves at motorcycle dealers around the world.

This new graphic is featured on the RPHA 11 model, HJC’s premium sport helmet. The RPHA 11 is constructed of PIM+ materials for an ultra-lightweight shell with superior shock-resistance. Each helmet in the RPHA 11 series comes equipped with an extra smoke shield, Pinlock insert, chin curtain and breath box, as well as 5-year warranty.

Keep an eye out to see which FIM Moto2 & Moto3 riders will debut the RPHA 11 Mike Wazowski at the HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France, May 20th, 2018. 2017 MotoAmerica Champion, Toni Elias, will also sport the Wazowski graphic at Laguna Seca on June 23rd, 2018

DO YOU LIKE DEADPOOL?

HEY, YOU! YA YOU. NO, NOT YOU. THE OTHER GUY, RIGHT THERE! YES, YOU. DO YOU LIKE DEADPOOL?

HJC Helmets is definitely a fan as they announce the RPHA 11 Deadpool. This is the second Deadpool graphic from HJC, the first featured on the IS-17.

Deadpool is not your average Super Hero. The bad ass, smart ass character from X-Men may not be an appropriate role model, but he has won the hearts of comic fans around the world. The HJC graphic replicates Deadpool’s classic, comic super-suit with textured red design and a matte finish.

Did someone say chimichangas? Don’t miss the HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France, May 20th, 2018 to the RPHA 11 Deadpool in action. This graphic is one of two new licensed designs that will debut at the HJC Helmets GP de France.

THE ALL-NEW HJC RPHA 90: MODULAR HELMET REINVENTED

THE ALL-NEW HJC RPHA 90: MODULAR HELMET REINVENTED

The RPHA 90 is the most compact modular motorcycle helmet in the world, resembling a full-face helmet through weight and appearance, yet functioning as a modular helmet. The helmet’s super-lightweight is a result of the compact shell constructed of HJC’s very own Premium Integrated Matrix (P.I.M.+) shell material. This technology provides enhanced shock resistant performance and superior aerodynamics while maintaining comfort for riders.

The ultra-light RPHA 90 is equipped with HJC’s new Sun Glide system. The inner-sun visor operates smoothly on an adjustable wire for ease of use, lowering a longer and wider anti-fog and anti-scratch visor for better sunlight eye protection.

The helmet’s Seal Secure shield system permits riding in any weather environment, wherever adventure might take you, by keeping water, dust, and noise out. The tight seal, combined with noise canceling interior, allow for a relaxing ride so riders can remain focused on the road.

New vents are strategically placed in high-pressure areas to increase air circulation through large top and mouth vents and rear exhaust vents.  Air is channeled through the interior cooling system to keep the rider’s head dry and cool.

The RPHA 90 is universally compatible with communication systems through added speaker pocket space and easy wiring through the removable interior. The RPHA 90 was designed and tested with the SmartH communication system, a Cardo and HJC collaboration.

For added safety, the RPHA 90 protects riders in low-light conditions with high-visibility reflective patches in the front shield area and rear lower padding of the helmet.

The RPHA 90 is designed for comfort during a long journey, but it is also convenient for short rides and frequent stops. The chin bar lifts with ease to a modular position for rider convenience.  The helmet accommodates riders who wear glasses with HJC’s Glasses Groove built into the interior.

Each helmet released by HJC Helmets is designed and thoroughly reviewed with safety, comfort, convenience, and functionality in mind. The RPHA 90 is a product of vigorous testing at HJC’s in-house wind tunnel and R&D center, and feedback from HJC’s previous premium modular helmet, the RPHA MAX.  With this new helmet, riders can surely expect revolutionary improvements and features.
